The food was absolutely phenomenal. The steak that I ordered, which was the steak Oscar was the best I have had. I really cannot say enough good things or recommended enough. We drove over 90 minutes and it was well worth the drive.

And whatever you do, order “The King.” It’s an Old Fashioned inspired by Elvis—peanut butter, banana, and bacon whiskey. Sounds unusual, but trust me, it’s next-level good. Oaklawn is a place you don’t just visit—you experience it.

Our waiter Leo was amazing. We were there through an entire ballgame and he never made us feel like we should rush to get out. Food was excellent. Even though D&B doesn’t do anything special for birthdays Leo got a group of servers together to sing to my son.

The best and fluffiest omelet I’ve ever had. Delicious shrimp and grits. Cant wait to eat here again

The employees don’t normally do table service, but they did a great job. It was fun to do this instead of a normal, expensive restaurant. The staff worked hard to transform the dining room into a festive place to eat sliders.
