- MmichaelVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoOne of the better restaurants in the area no doubt. A bit pricey for the food but the food was good no doubt. Cocktails were great, staff was great, and the ambience was a 10. The food was good but compared to some other upscale locations, very pricey. Also, it says there is a dress code - not at all, not enforced, and kind of disappointing. Overall 4/5 and 100% worth a try!More infoChef's Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Very Expensive• American• Norfolk•4.9
- VVVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWent here for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was fast. We ordered oyster Rockefeller, ceviche and the scallops as our entrees. So good! I love the ambiance of this place. Perfect for date night or girls night.More infoSaltinePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Norfolk•4.4
- RRachelNorfolk/Suffolk •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI will confess that the menu was much smaller than anticipated and we got the brunch menu, which I understood because of it being New Years Day. I saw this as a good thing because to me, the smaller the menu, the better the food is going to be. Boy I was right and my gut told me to get the risotto. While my mom and I waited for our food, we were taking in and enjoying the quiet ambiance and we did get to enjoy the Perry Glass exhibit after we finished. It’s worth checking out. When our food arrived, I already knew I was in for a treat because the earthy, cheesy and creamy aroma filled the air and I couldn’t wait to dig in. The presentation looked like an art piece and I knew I was in for a treat. OH. MY. GOD. It’s the best risotto I’ve ever tasted and according to Shantal, our server, it’s not a regular menu item of theirs, but it should be because the little mushrooms on the top were crispy like bacon and I had a take a picture of the masterpiece because I knew it was going to vanish in minutes. If the chefs are reading this, please make it a regular menu item. My mom was disappointed in her steak, but she was already in a bad mood. However, she enjoyed the Perry Glass exhibit and agreed to come back when the Glass Light offers their regular dinner menu. We will be back to enjoy the bougie elegance and masterpieces of the Glass Light and dig into more of its ambrosia in the future!More infoGlass LightPrice: Expensive• French American• Norfolk•4.6
- AAmyVIPSouth Carolina •4 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Dec 2024Enjoyed a delicious anniversary dinner last night at Byrd and Baldwin! It was our third time visiting and does not disappoint. We shared the crab cake appetizer and each had the fillet mignon. The crab cake had minimal filler (if any) and the steaks were tender and cooked perfectly. This is a go to place for a special evening out!More infoByrd and Baldwin Bros. SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Norfolk•4.7
