- KKelseyJacksonville / Northeast Florida •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBoyfriend and I went and split three dishes, which came recommended from a server. Onion soup, warm shrimp salad, and the steak frites. Everything was fantastic. We ordered our steak medium, and it came out very medium rare. Our server returned it, the manager came out and apologized. They returned with a corrected steak and more frites. Definitely recommend eating the frites with the steak in one bite. Good one their own but together- chef’s kiss! All of the food was incredible, and felt like we were back in Paris for an hour. Only critique would be for the bread to come warm to the table, or the butter to be softened so it could easily spread on the bread.More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
- LLaShondaVIPPhiladelphia County •21 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoGrand Opening Delight** I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Avana, and I must say, it was an experience from start to finish! First and foremost, the food was absolutely fantastic. Each dish was a celebration of flavors, showcasing the chef's creativity and passion. The menu featured a delightful variety of options, catering to all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the lump crab, Lobster Roll and shrimp scampi, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into crafting each item, making it a true feast for the senses. The atmosphere of the restaurant was equally impressive. The decor was stylish and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Soft lighting and comfortable seating made it the perfect place for a cozy dinner or a gathering with friends. The attention to detail in the design really enhanced the overall dining experience. Last but certainly not least, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure we were well taken care of without being intrusive, adding a personal touch to our evening. Their enthusiasm for the restaurant was evident, and it truly enhanced our overall experience. With great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service, it’s a place I can’t wait to visit again. I highly recommend checking it out—you won't be disappointed!More infoAVANAPrice: Moderate• American• Center City•4.7

- RRoniPhiladelphia County •20 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We went for Christmas breakfast. We were seated immediately and the service staff was very attentive to us. We ordered 3 breakfast items, french toast with nutella and bananas which was outstanding as the bread was not very heavy, the frittata which came with a home made engish muffin and the shrimp and grits which the portion size was so large we needed to take it home. All of the food was very decadent and tasty. Looking forward to coming back here again!More infoUrban Farmer- PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Center City•4.3
