- VVictorSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent food, wonderful ambiance and a professional, yet fun staff. Each member of our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed their dishes - my salmon was cooked to perfection, and another friend’s said her steak carpaccio was to “die for”. The room’s decor is Mediterranean inspired, with soft glowing wall sconces, giving the space a warm and inviting feel. A full bar is tucked away from the dining room, a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat and catch a game. On a warm day, sit at a table near the large, open windows and let the warm breeze envelop you as you enjoy an Aperol spritz, or sit outside at a handful of tables. Pasta, fish, pizza, steaks, salads and more, “Ti Piacere” is a great locals (or tourist) spot, with terrific food, ambiance and friendly staff - Jun, our waiter, was the best!More infoTi PiaceraPrice: Moderate• Italian• Nob Hill•4.6
- AAudreySan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024The food quality at Octavia is very high. The chefs really know what they’re doing. We had a pre-fixe menu for Christmas Eve dinner and they accommodated dietary restrictions with advanced notice. They actually called a few days in advance of the reservation to confirm the dietary restrictions which was really nice. We had 9 courses I think and they were all delicious. My favorites were the soup and the pasta dishes. The service was also very good, the servers were very attending and accommodating. There was one dish I didn’t eat much of because it had radicchio in it which I don’t like, and our server offered to have the kitchen make me a replacement dish with a different lettuce instead. The only negative of Octavia is that it feels very cramped. The space is small and they squeeze in a lot of tables so you’re sitting basically on top of other diners and it’s a little awkward. Everything else was great though. I would definitely recommend Octavia as a good place for special occasions or bringing out of town visitors.More infoOctaviaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Pacific Heights•4.7
