I’m so happy every time I walk in the door. In fact, I’m headed again tonight and expect the same.

My parents were visiting from Yellowknife, and were absolutely floored by the excellent service at Darling. They don’t often have the opportunity to try new wines, and it can be intimidating to go to a new wine bar (even though my dad’s a chef). Our server made thoughtful and curated recommendations, was very attentive, and ensured that no one felt out of place asking a question about the wines. The flavours in the fennel salad were exceptional - we had the best steak of our lives as well as a tourtiere that would have knocked my grandma’s socks off, and when eaten alongside the brassica salad our meal felt quintessentially Alberta. Thanks to the Darling team for always delivering showstopper experience of a meal and superb service, even with a full house for Flying Canoe Volant!

Ambiance was great, it was a hockey game night so it was very busy and quite loud. The food was great with the exception of my steak that was not cooked to medium well, both times came out rare. But, the rest of the food was great, highly recommend the King Salmon! Our waitress Deborah was the best part. She was fantastic!!

We enjoyed a lovely brunch at Pip's this morning; a chance to start off our daughter's birthday by meeting up with her there this snowy morning. As always, we were warmly greeted and well looked after by the serving staff. My husband and I had the traditional Eggs Benedict, which came with a generous portion of hashbrowns, while our daughter had the breakfast sandwich (vegetarian, with avocado). We each thorough enjoyed our meals, even my husband who is quite picky about his eggs benedict had to concede this was one of the better ones he has had. Topped off with lots of coffee and a mimosa for me, it was a perfect way to start our day. Highly recommend.

It was a fantastic experience, I brought my significant other for a birthday and the staff treated us like royalty they were kind, welcoming and respectful, the service was incredible and the ambiance was quiet and peaceful perfect for a birthday dinner. The food was outstanding came quickly and tasted amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience
