- GGingerAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe menu variety was perfect. The food was excellent along with the service. I highly recommend adding the Cocunt Cow cake with French pressed coffee for dessert. Beautiful decor and phenomenal service!More infoWilliam & HenryPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Lynchburg•4.9

- BBarbaravipRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoDuring our day trip to Oxford we found this gem. It’s an hour drive for us but we will definitely make this one of our go to places. My husband had the lamb and I had the ribeye, both were outstanding. The horseradish deviled eggs were awesome as well. Service was unmatched, they really take care of their customers. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items.More infoOxford Oaks DistilleryPrice: Expensive• American• Oxford•4.9
- CChrisVirginia •1 review4.0Dined on 21 Nov 2024Two of us dined here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Appetizers were very good (beet salad and she crab soup), but the main entrees (duck & pork chop) were only OK. Pork chop was well cooked, but the sear made it taste mostly of charcoal and overpowered the other tastes. It was moist but fairly tough. Carrots were hard and bitter and purple cauliflower just looked strange! My wife said the duck was very good, but also avoided the veggies. Biggest surprise and disappointment were the dessert offerings. My wife was offered a free selection from the dessert menu for her birthday (which was nice), but it turns out that all four selections contain High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) to which she is allergic. We have never encountered this problem at a high-end restaurant before - typically they make their desserts from scratch (HFCS is found in low-end processed ingredients). Even their ice cream had it! We ended up having dessert at home.More infoShoemaker's GrillePrice: Expensive• American• Lynchburg•4.6
