- EElenaSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were greeted with a warm aloha welcome! The server was friendly and attentive. The bartenders drinks were spot on for the mixes we requested. The ambience and lighting were serene. The food was just absolutely amazing. The ahi tuna entre was seared perfectly. The scallops were scrumptious. The ribeye and short ribs were cooked just right and delicious. I was surprised how well the server and chef were able to modify my entre to accommodate by dietary restrictions. Overall, it was a delightful experience again. We plan to make a reservation every time we visit the big island. Thank you!More infoMeridiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Kohala Coast•4.6

- FFredVIPGreater Boston •23 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoChef Hess (and FORC owner) comes out to chat with you and ask about your meal - and that tells you a lot about how this place operates. Very solid service, nice spot right down in the center of Waimea but you feel like you're out in the countryside. Ahi sashimi and "adult" mac and cheese (gnocchi + goat cheese + bacon) were both excellent. The NY strip was locally sourced (Parker Ranch) and was super flavorful. Cocktails were also professionally prepared and outstanding; dessert was macadamia nut and chocolate heavy and that was all to the good as well. Would come back in a heartbeat.More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.5
- DDiannePalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •3 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Highly recommend this restaurant We were a family of 10 and received the best meal and service of our vacation. Our server was friendly attentive and fun. The food was outstanding. There was live music that was enjoyable as background music. Not too loud and a talented musician. Only problem is they are so popular you need to reserve long in advance but well worth the effort.More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.7
- JJeannieVIPSan Diego •24 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024Hotel is under construction, but don't let that stop you from having a fabulous meal with a great view. The entire staff is impeccable, from check in person to bartender to server to the bus boy. If you are in the area or want to take a drive north from Kona, we highly recommend this establishment. First Class Award goes to this great property.More infoManta at Mauna KeaPrice: Very Expensive• Pacific Rim• Kohala Coast•4.5
