Restaurants near American Legion Fairgrounds

We had several things go wrong during our visit, including slow kitchen times, dried out food, out of what we ordered, etc… but our waitress, Sam, and manager, Joe, really came through for us and showed us we were valued and appreciated for being there. They both were highly accommodating and gave excellent customer service. We will be back specifically because we know we are valued customers and though things went awry this time, this was the first time we have ever had anything go wrong, and we go here a lot. So knowing that this was a once off situation, and knowing how well they accommodated us for the mishaps, we just wanna give praise to our waitress and manager for tonight. Thank you Sam and Joe for making us feel important and giving us your best!

My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine’s Day dinner. We had a reservation at 6:30 but didn’t get sat until about 7:00. I was okay with that though because they had ample waiting seating and I could tell it was very busy. We ordered the calamari appetizer to start. The flavor was great, but the sauce made the breading soggy and the breading was falling off. We both agreed that we would have preferred the sauce on the side to dip in so that the breading would stay crispy. I got the petite filet and the baked potato, both were delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. The baked potato was sizable. I also had the Wild berry Lemonade cocktail and it was GREAT! One of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Overall it was a great experience!

Always perfection. We take our well-mannered five year old and they are so welcoming and kind to kids. The best mix of everything you want: fantastic food and drinks, gorgeous setting, warm and sophisticated but chill vibe.

3 PM was the only time available because of Valentine’s Day so we weren’t hungry enough to try an appetizer and have dessert. I had the lobster/crab/shrimp bisque and it was FABULOUS. Also, for my Main Course, I had a Cheeseburger with a side salad. The Cheeseburger was very good. Side salad was mainly iceberg, OK. My husband had the Tuna. Didn’t love it. Our server was super attentive and helpful. We started with a free sample of Prosecco and ended up joining the Wine Club and bought a bottle of that. Overall, a very nice time. We will go back.

We had not been to Tony’s for several years, as it’s a bit of a drive for us. We made a reservation for 2/11/25 to celebrate Valentine’s Day early bc of a scheduled surgery. We loved the “new” building and location, the atmosphere, lighting, music, service from Jade, and the DELICIOUS meal. Neither of us have enjoyed a meal out like this for as long as as we can remember. We will definitely be back much sooner than later!
