Restaurants near Amber Motel

Went to Joey’s for Valentine’s Day weekend and it was an overall pleasurable experience. Our food was delicious! We ordered the Joey Classic Steak and both of our steaks were cooked perfectly! Not only that, but they were served fast which was amazing given that it was a Saturday night. I only had two complaints. First, I’m not sure if the champagne up front is complimentary. I’ve seen some reviews saying that it is. Regardless, we were not offered any. Second, (this isn’t for the restaurant staff) I’m not sure why some parents think that Joey is an appropriate place to take their kids. Some kids were well behaved, but others were jumping all over the booth and getting their hand prints on the divider glass. It’s not an enjoyable experience watching a child almost topple over the customers in the booth behind us. Not every restaurant is meant for children, specifically toddlers, and I feel like Joey is one of them.

Loved red lobster 🦞 it was super busy on Friday Valentine's Day but people were trying to get a table just walking in. OpenTable really saved the day and we were seated within 10 minutes. The appetizers and drinks came out quick, but the soup was a little cold by the time the feast came out much later, I wish we knew so we could have gotten the soup while hot! The food was great, the owner is really nice, made my Valentine’s Day evening a really great experience and the beer and wine selection is amazing.

It was really packed so our waitress, who was very kind and friendly, was as attentive as she could be. The noise level was high but not too high that we couldn’t hold a conversation. Checking in for my reservation was a little frustrating when I was told I was 5 minutes early for my reservation so I would have to wait b4 they could seat me. They sat me about 10 minutes later. I would have rather they said we are working on your table now.
