Restaurants near Ambassador Motel

Had a reservation for 7:15, arrived early enough for a drink at the bar. Great service and tasty mixed drinks; I especially liked Hayden’s Special Sidecar. Dinner was in a small front room with three tables; however one was a large party of 12-15 people so it was a bit louder than expected. The crab cakes, filet and ribeye were delicious, my date was doubtful it would live up to the price point, but even he stated that dinner exceeded his expectations. Parking was clearly marked in a private lot, restaurant was beautifully decorated with prohibition- style music playing.

I would like thank you for the wonderful stay. I am , for the first time, going to make a recommendation. My wife and I had a 6:30 reservation , we we arrived at the bar for a cocktail just before 6 O'clock. I waited about 25 min in a line of just 2 people, the bartender completely ignored me several times as I and another customer waited patiently. after 25 minutes it became embarrassing. So I just left with no drinks. This is the second time this has happened at your bar. All other services were extraordinary and perfect. Thanks for listening. See ya next time. We have been to Coldwater Cafe many times and will continue to return. Exceptionally prepared and unique menu choices along with excellent service and hospitality every single time.

Had the best experience, the place was incredibly busy but our appetizer and meal were both on time just perfect and we had the best service !!!

Food is fresh and flavorful. Loved the appetizers. Portions are good. Hummus has an authentic and fresh taste. Ask for extra pita. The burratta cheese app has fresh garlic and the toast is perfect with this dish. I saw the steak at the table next to us and it looked amazing. Really good food!
