Spectacular evening! The food was beyond delicious!! (There were 3 of us and we all ordered different things. After much passing of forks to taste everything, we decided that EVERYTHING was yummy!) Our server “Courtney” did an amazing job and any assistance from the rest of the staff was also great! It was well worth the one hour drive for us and a trip to the Heather Lodge is already on the list for our next special occasion!!

Absolutely incredible dinner at Haliburton Post House. Service was friendly, professional and attentive. Celeste and Jasmine were wonderful hosts. Wine paring recommendation was spot on. The food was outstanding, so much attention to detail exquisitely plated. The passion of the Chef and the entire staff shines through with every detail. We can’t wait to come back to enjoy another fabulous evening. Keep up the great work.

The grounds of the resort could use some maintenance. But the inside of the building is beautiful. The restaurant has a nice quiet romantic ambiance. I would say it’s fine dining. It was very quick service and extremely tasteful dinner. The servers were friendly and efficient.

Casual elegance and a relaxing dinner. We don’t always like to have noise and energy around us so the Eclipse is a welcomed reprieve during tourist season. It’s wonderful that it is open to the public as well as to resort guests. The food is beautifully prepared, and you can try a spoonful of it all—beef, chicken or shrimp skewers, mussels, pasta, excellent Ceasar salad , squares and cookies for dessert. There is even a half-price children’s selection table with pizza, chicken fingers etc. the serving staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Lovely.
