The food and drinks were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend going. The only thing I would comment on is that they need to have extra wait staff. It was a very busy night and the service was friendly, but it took a while for the food and drinks to be served.

We did the Yang Banquet Meal with the wine pairing and it was sensational. We dined on Valentine’s Day and it was a full house. However our food was delivered in a timely manner and to an impeccable standard. We loved every dish and we found the wines accentuated the flavours in each dish perfectly. Was a magical experience and would happily recommend and dine again in a heartbeat! Service too was attentive, professional, warm and friendly. Loved everything about our Valentines dinner at Mamasan! Thank you to all.

Relaxed friendly atmosphere with excellent service and food. Our server, although only on her first day at Metz, knew the menu very well and made some excellent suggestions. All in all a very good experience.

Great food served by friendly helpful staff. The place had a good vibe - not surprising as every seat was full when we got there. Music loud enough to enjoy but still able to talk. Not the cheapest but some of the best Japanese we have eaten in quite some time.
