- NNicolaOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBeautiful character pub in an easy to find, quaint village on the outskirts of Oxford with huge vaulted ceiling and a cosy bar with a fire- perfect for the snowy winter's evening we spent there. Service was exceptional- attentive, friendly staff without being intrusive who couldn't do enough for you. Food was delicious though a tad pricey. But then I guess the old addage of you get what you pay for is true here:)!More infoThe White Hart at FyfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Fyfield•4.7

- AAndrewOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Best steak ever. Can’t fault anything here .Only one bad point was we had someone with walking problems and we had a blue badge so we parked in the disabled parking. This is on a slope and no drop kerb to access it so you have to bump up the kerb into a slope. Not the best. Otherwise perfect.More infoThe Chequers at BurcotPrice: Expensive• British• Abingdon•4.7
- JJennyLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 22 Dec 2024Sunday 22 December 2024 my first visit here, we had just come from seeing Wicked at the local cinema. It was 4pm so not over busy, a real bonus! The waitress was lovely and friendly and took a real interest in our excitement over the film. We were not rushed. The space looked really nice, festive, and it was a cosy temperature. We both ordered the pork roast dinner... the waitress said it was delicious, and she was correct. Everything on the plate was cooked just right with plenty of gravy!!!! I would definitely go back. Congratulations to The Broadface on getting it right.More infoThe Broad FacePrice: Moderate• British• Abingdon•4.9
