The Canoe experience is always top drawer! This surroundings are superb…the restaurant never misses the mark with its entrees and of course it would be blasphemy to not order the salmon (no other quite like it). Thanks to Frank and the staff for making our evening sensational!

We went to Henry's for Valentine's dinner with another couple. We got the boudin balls as an appetizer, I was pleasantly surprised! Very tasty, little spicy with sausage and kind of like a hush puppy outside batter. Really liked it dipped in the remoulade sauce. My husband had the Liam's chicken he said it was Fantastic! Really juicy and flavorful. I got the blackened catfish over spicy cheese grits and it's was so delicious! It was an enjoyable dining experience.

First, thank you to the whole staff - the ladies up front, the bartenders, the servers and bussers cleaning and clearing the tables. Everyone made our Valentine's Dinner awesome. The Fig bourbon is delicious. Trevor was a great waiter and was responsive to our table. 1st course - beef tartare for me and jumbo shrimp for my wife were great. 2nd course - she crab soup and the duck confit spinach salad were very tasty. Entrees - Salmon Oscar cooked beautifully as was my wife's broiled seafood platter. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and tasty. Dessert - the warm butter cake was delicious. Thank you again.

Valentine dinner was outstanding. They did a series of set menus to choose from because of the crush of Valentine Day. Seated promptly upon arrival and our server introduced herself and got us drinks. We selected the Cupid menu which included the filet. Prepared perfectly. This is our go to restaurant. It might be a touch out of the way but worth it for those that want a great experience on the lake.

Always enjoy our meals at La Scala. Rarely disappointed in anything, and often truly surprised by one or two dishes. Service is always quite friendly, and enough. The off menu specials are the treasures here. And they make one of the best whole fish I’ve had outside of the Mediterranean.
