Bar Chelou is a neo-bistro that is both a distillation of Chef Doug Rankin's broad gastronomic interests and a deeply personal expression of his individualistic style.     Wonderful ambience - feels like you’re in a cozy (but classy) old home. Service was wonderful. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails are unique and very good. So far, I’ve only been with larger groups of family, but I’d love to come back for a romantic dinner.

    The Arbour restaurant is truly a Pasadena gem. The salad to start are not overdressed, the salads are also fresh and presented beautiful We each enjoyed the pasta dishes. The pasta is cooked to perfection and well seasoned. We had the pumpkin pie which is amazing From our server Patrick, the chef Ian, kitchen staff, all the staff this restaurant is wonderful.

    great bubbly, sandwiches, desserts and tea; perfect service. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I would ask to keep the scones and add fruit (decrease the hard to dismiss desserts). thanks for a great bday photo! (servers are excellent photographers).

    Dined on 11/6/24. My husband was with me and my two kids. Our first time there. We ordered the happy hour oysters (12) and an order of the clams & mussels. Both fantastic! All 4 dinner entrees my family ordered were presented beautifully. Big portions and great flavor. Service was great. Many servers tended to us. Water never went dry. Enjoyed our experience. We will return.
