SAGE is unique in Sarasota. The ambience is very sophisticated with an up beat vibe: wood, soft lights, bit dark in decor but not depressing, just like a really good bar in NYC. Wait staff is outstanding. Cassie was our server and she was top notch: fun, warm, interested, knowledgeable, helpful, went out of her way. Dining manager in sport coat and tie was charming and an unusual touch in our little town by the Bay. Food was truly outstanding: mezzaluna pasta appetizer, filet mignon, pork chop, all delicous. The apple crispy thing for dessert was not great: dry. But beautifully designed and presented. This is a small criticism for a great restaurant. Sage is VERY PRICEY but worth it for a special event or splurge. Put it on your special list.

The food was spectacular and we will be back. Crispy Octopus, open faced lamb pita, bangers and mash and a whole head of roasted cauliflower with truffle and bacon! Sorry we don’t go downtown more often but this is definitely a great reason to go back! 0ur server was wonderful and the drinks were great as well! Easy parking. Can’t say enough great things! Thanks for a great night out!

Nice table location inside. Our meals were wonderful and the side dishes were great!! Waiter was very pleasant and efficient. Was definitely a premiere steakhouse!

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Selva Grill - either location. The service was outstanding, the food excellent, the value perfect. I always will highly recommend.

We really like Duval's. We got there just before the end of Happy Hour and our server, Jen, volunteered to keep our 2nd glasses of Chardonnay in the chiller for us until we were ready for them. What a great deal -- Happy Hour prices paid for Happy Hour wine ordered before 6:00 but consumed later. Since Swordfish was not on the Fresh Catch menu (and I love the way Duval's does Swordfish), we decided to share a few appetizers. Always a good choice and always delish. It was a delightful night dining outside in their Parklet. We are so happy that Sarasota voted to continue to allow them even after the COVID-19 pandemic ended.
