Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. As owners of R Wine Bar, Riccardo and Marybeth are passionate about one thing: people. They believe that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Wait to get in was very short, Monday must be a great day to visit this restaurant. The food is consistent and service attentive. Things have changed over the years, no more white table cloths. Food was generous and flavorful, prepared properly, and above average ... not elevated. Still, enjoyed the meal and surroundings, it's always a great place for a business meeting or special event. Thank you!
