Gaslight is an open concept bar, restaurant, and live music venue serving some of the best food Nantucket has to offer. The cuisine, from Chef Liam Mackey (The Nautilus), has a Japanese Izakaya vibe where you'll find a variety of haute street food style pan-Asian cuisine include noodles, rice dishes, bao buns, raw fish, skewers, dumplings, and more. The bar program, curated by Clinton Terry (The Nautilus) features a variety of fresh ingredient forward cocktails with culinary inspired themes, and rotating craft beers on tap. The wine list leans towards fun, funky, natural w/ a twist of the classic plus the island's only Champagne Vending machine (thank you Moët). The atmosphere is lively, the staff is friendly, the location in the heart of downtown Nantucket can't be beat, and the live music starts every night in the summer around 1030pm, featuring both local and off-island acts with high name recognition. Located mid-island, currently serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and dinner Wednesday through Saturday for the winter.Seasonally, we have a beautiful outdoor bar, serving up drinks and food for before or after a trip to the beach, as well as a full outdoor patio and indoor dining room! Delicious as always! A few new items on the menu since the last time we were there that were delicious (eggplant, lettuce wraps). And of course the standards that we love (oyster tacos, blue crab fried rice) - they never disappoint. The almost naked and famous is the best drink anywhere! Great service, great atmosphere. Love this spot!!

It was our first time at the Gaslight. Asian infused dishes were anywhere from solid to excellent. I particularly enjoyed the lemongrass shrimp / pasta dish. The tequila / ginger drink was also excellent. With that said, it is essentially bar food in a bar environment. So, important to be clear on your expectations.
