Restaurants near Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park

My experience was good. Was looking forward to a thanksgiving meal but to my surprise they were serving half dried pieces of turkey with two traditional sides. The regular pieces of meats were plentiful to include their salad bar. Nothing special serving for the holiday.

I absolutely love this place for our anniversary night! They always have amazing service and excellent steaks.

The experience was delightful. The food was a bit pricey but it was delicious. We were there early. Only a few diners along with us. But when we left the crowd started to grow. Our server, Santiago, made the experience. It was our first time there and he did a great job explaining how everything worked.

This is on of my favorite restaurants and I look forward to eating here whenever I’m in McAllen. This meal was fantastic - my dad and I I had the Ahi Tuna which melts in your mouth. My mom loved her scallop dish and my husband enjoyed the fried chicken. Can’t wait to go back.

The one thing that took away from the experience was the music. Given the elegant setting, I was expecting something sophisticated and subtle to match the atmosphere. Instead, the playlist felt oddly out of place especially with their spotify ads, making it feel more like an average restaurant than the high-end experience it aimed to be. It was distracting, and at times with the noise level, even made it difficult to immerse myself fully in the atmosphere. If they reconsider the music selection to better align with their otherwise upscale vibe, this place would be flawless.
