Restaurants near Center Square

We had made a reservation 3 weeks prior to our visit. When we arrived we were seated promptly. We were slightly disappointed that we were seated in the bar area as opposed to the dining room. The waiter was very attentive , the food was delicious. Our food choices were crab bisque, pasta with sausage, and salmon ala Botto’s. The noise level made conversation difficult.

On the night before Valentines, but with many couples celebrating tonight due to tomorrow’s Eagles parade, the restaurant was very busy, but they handled it very well. We still were seated right away and our waiter was attentive. The food was its usual excellent.

We enjoyed Parc on a cold, snowy evening in February. The restaurant was cozy and warm, and the feeling was too! Our server, Jose, was great - friendly and with just the right amount of check-ins. The beet salad was yummy, with lots of beets cooked to perfection and a great mix of flavors. We both enjoyed Trout Amandine - a large portion with a hearty helping of haricots verts. The cranberry walnut bread was also delicious! We will go back tomorrow to buy a loaf to take home! If only the glass of wine wasn’t so pricey. But who can have a meal like this without a glass of wine?

My husband and I are Maryland “crab snobs”! DiPaolo’s is the only restaurant in NJ where we will eat the crab cakes — all crabmeat- amazing and delicious!! Can’t go wrong with their steaks either. Actually we have been eating there for years and every meal had been delicious. Shared a fabulous tomahawk steak with my grandson there during Thanksgiving weekend.

Beautiful lunch for a 50th bday lunch. Server was wonderful, although the host could have been more welcoming. Not friendly at all. Food was great. Bread was a pleasant surprise. $5 for a cup of tea seems steep. I mean, isn’t it basically hot water?
