Restaurants near Appoquinimink Wildlife Area

This was one of our many visits to La Fia and they never let us down. Friendly staff amazing food and drinks and our server Lindsey who 99% of the time serves us is by far one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere. We are leaving the area soon to travel the country but will be back to enjoy again. On but wait, the valentines menu was out of this world!!!!!

It was the night before Valentines Day it was super crowded but they handled everything so well! Everyone stepped in to help including hostesses, waitstaff, bartenders and Managers to clean tables and move. Hairs around bring food out whatever it took. We took a seat in the bar area and gave up our reservation for people waiting. It was fun!

We enjoyed Parc on a cold, snowy evening in February. The restaurant was cozy and warm, and the feeling was too! Our server, Jose, was great - friendly and with just the right amount of check-ins. The beet salad was yummy, with lots of beets cooked to perfection and a great mix of flavors. We both enjoyed Trout Amandine - a large portion with a hearty helping of haricots verts. The cranberry walnut bread was also delicious! We will go back tomorrow to buy a loaf to take home! If only the glass of wine wasn’t so pricey. But who can have a meal like this without a glass of wine?

My experience was awesome. The food was absolutely delicious. We received outstanding service from the time we walked in. The hostess, the manager Val and our waitress Emma provided Raving Fan Service. We will be back. Thank you!

We had a late lunch that included the calamari appetizer, a burger and a brick oven pizza with prosciutto. Everything was perfectly prepared and very tasty. The burgers and pizza are among the best in the Middletown area. There were some new craft cocktails on the menu that were very well prepared and delicious. We look forward to our next visit to Lore for the Valentines special weekend menu.
