Restaurants near Newcastle Memorial Arena

The meal was very good but we do find it a bit pricey I also think subtle , low key Jazz or new wave music would be an excellent choice for background music ......just my thoughts Thanks for a lovely dinner again 🙂

The service was excellent by Jeff. My husband enjoyed the prime rib and I had to order the delicious Keg hamburger.. that is best that I have ever tasted. Our server last week, Amber was super friendly. We have not been to the Keg at this point for 1 year and suggested the winter grill...sirloin with carmalized onions... so tender and mouth watering and hubby had prime rib... We had cheesecake and Jeff suggested pineapple upside down cake.. perfection. Service and food and atmosphere were excellent. Our favorite place ❤️

The staff at Kelsey's Bowmanville were friendly, efficient and attentive. I'd asked for a table that a person with a walker could easily access, and they chose one ideally situated. Although our party found that the onion rings and crab cakes had too much outside crunch, the food was fresh, hot and well-presented. Given the cost of food these days, we felt the meals were favourably priced. One of our parties asked for some changes to be made to her meal choice, and this was accommodated graciously and without fuss. We did notice that there was a limited choice for someone who is lactose intolerant - much of the menu includes cheese or creamed sauces. Nonetheless, overall, it was a pleasant evening of good food in a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Kudos to our server, Sarah. We will definitely return.
