The regional and contemporary menu at Lago is a culmination of northern Piedmontese dishes to Sicilian seafood dishes inspired by 30 years of Italian cooking and upbringing. We have also added in some popular American-Italian dishes for those guests looking for a more modern Italian dining experience.                                                                       I celebrated my birthday there on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant is gorgeous. The bartender Ellie was amazing and attentive to my party. The endless mimomas was tasty and so was our food. I will return again next time for dinner.

                                                                      The atmosphere was nice and service was great. Some items on the menu were good and others disappointing. They have Italian Wedding Soup on the menu at an Italian restaurant and it was absolutely horrible and definitely not wedding soup. It had kale vs spinach, tons of celery and no meatballs but instead a few dried up pieces of chicken. It also had no taste. Waitress did allow us the swap it for tomato bisque which was good. Nothing was great though so for that reason I won’t dine there again.

                                                                      Overall it was a great experience. Service was a bit slow because they were managing a very large party in the back room. Food was pretty good. Wedding soup was just vegetables, no meat as was listed. But still very flavorful. My pasta had excellent flavor but was unfortunately cold. My wife’s pasta was perfect, our appetizer, dessert and drinks were all amazing. In the end we’d definitely go back, would still give them a strong B+/A-.
