   As usual the food at Laposta was fabulous. Is that a contradiction in terms to say that it is usual and it is fabulous but it was we had so many delicious items on our meal. I’m so glad it’s in my neighborhood.

   The restaurant was very cold! Open window and door. On a cold night. Wine by the glass was what we called a “short pour”. Not a good value. Service was very good and menu limited, but very good quality.

   Food was ho hum. Crab spaghetti had very little crab. Pork shoulder was in a pool of olive oil which overpowered other flavors. Bread was excellent. And Service was excellent as always.

   5 of us enjoyed a lovely well paced meal with attentive service. The meals included pasta dishes, fish zuppa, brisket and pizza - all well prepared and nice portions. Desserts and coffee drinks topped off the evening. This is truly a Santa Cruz treasure.

   Had a wonderful dinner last Friday evening at La Posta. We ate outside on a bit of a cool evening so there was only one other table occupied at the time of our reservation. Our waiter Gavin and the whole staff were very friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions about the menu offerings that night. I wouldn't hesitate to return to La Posta at my earliest convenience for another wonderful dining experience.

   As always, a wonderful meal. Great ambiance, comfortable seating and noise level. Great service. No one trying to rush you. Delicious, fresh appetizers, pasta, wine and gelato.

   Delicious food presented, and I’m lovely way. The waiter was very knowledgeable about both the food and the wines. That was a fantastic duet playing violin music. We really enjoyed our meal there.
