   La Mía Cucina is one of our “must go to” restaurants when in P.G. The food is always delicious. You are greeted with a warm welcome and service. Our waiter Luis was very professional and polite! If you love Italian food, you will love La Mía Cucina.

   This was my 2nd time eating here! My brother and sister in law had their rehearsal dinner here in 2011. The ambiance is quaint, quiet and very clean! The staff, chef and hostess (perhaps the owners) were beyond accommodating and very supportive of us having our 1 year old daughter dining with us. We are always very aware of noise and never want to disrupt anyone’s meal. They complimented our parenting styles, opening the door for us as my wife and I traded turns entertaining our daughter. The chef even gave our daughter extra fruit to help us appease her! The food was excellent and very authentic. We are so grateful to have had such a great dining experience. Thank you!

   We live Pacific Grove and Mia Cocina is one of our favorite restaurants. However, this evening was a bit disappointing. My wife ordered Eggplant Parmesan and I tried the NY steak. My wife said her dish was “mushy” and a very small portion - for Italian food. My NY steak was cooked medium rare, but was tough - not tender or juicy. As part owner of a restaurant, I thought the owner would appreciate feedback - not a complaint. I pointed this out to the owner and suggested that they should take it off the menu unless they served a better cut of meat. They did take a big “$12” off the bill, the NY steak was $47. 😋. Oh well, if one wants a steak dinner, go to a restaurant that specializes in steak, i.e Whaling Station.

   Our meal at La Mia Cucina was fantastic! The food was absolutely exquisite, and the service was exceptional. We were made to feel like family from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

    I’ve left a Yelp review in hopes ownership reads it to this effect. Food, ambiance and service were great. A $40 corkage is robbery and I’ve let them know it. I’d go back just be forewarned.

    Thank you for your input and for the opportunity to explain why we increased our corkage for people who decide to bring their own wine. We only sell food and beverage. Many more people are bring their own wine while we maintain an extensive wine list that is very fairly priced and offers an extensive choice of wines. The $5 increase is the first in over 5 years and represents a lower % than many of our costs have gone up and did match two other locations in our area. We increased the service charge for those who choose to bring their own wine in leu of taking away the bruschetta, bread or soup/salad that is included in our menu price or increasing our wine prices for all of our guests. We don’t want to increase prices, however, we are simply trying to stay in business.
