Came here for lunch with a friend. The pizza that was recommended by the server was limo and soggy and laden with undercooked mushrooms, but not much of the other ingredients that were supposed to be on it. I didn’t send it back because we didn’t have time, but probably will not go back again.

Loud to the point of unable to hear the conversation of those at my table; there were just two of us at the table; I had to send my order back because they didn't bring the right order (TWICE!). I won't be back

La Fontaine is a nice restaurant and has been around for years. I met my friends for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The bartender was great. We all enjoyed our cocktails and food. We will definitely return.

Exceptional service and great food. The crab cakes did not disappoint. The boneless burgundy ribs were very tender and flavorful. We will definitely come back for another date night.

First time at this restaurant and will be back. Very good and attentive service from Didem C. Dinner (Branzino) was good in terms of food quantity, quality, and presentation. Prices are Bay Area ridiculous, but not abnormal. Menu has lots of appealing choices. The entrees are more interesting than the appetizers and desserts which are more Italian/ Mediterranean focused (though the place does describe itself as cuisine provencale). Outdoor seating a plus, though perhaps some music/flowers/plants to separate the place from the noodle soup next door would be nice.

The food and the service were exceptional (except when the old guy (manager or owner) swiped the chili right off our table without asking if we were done with it) but it was SUPER noisy in there. It was so loud we had trouble having a conversation.
