   I had lunch with a friend. We had crepes, both sweet and savory, both excellent. Service is discreet and attentive. The ambiance is authentically French.

   Belle Epoque in Media PA is one of my favorites. It is small, very friendly and un-fussy. The bistrot menu is mostly traditional but includes a few more contemporary approaches. Onion soup is always exceptional. Boeuf Bourguignon, an item I often choose, is particularly rich. Overall, while one cannot actually hear the susurration of Parisian streets, one's nose may well be fooledl

   We had a great experience with a wonderful waiter and excellent food that was well above our expectations. This was a first time visit and we will undoubtedly go again, despite a drive of more than 45 minutes to get there. This is a rare find among for great French cooking and ambiance.

   Classic French Bistro menu. Everything is done well. Favorites have been the Poulet au Citron, Truite Amandine, and Onglet à l’échalote. The Creme Brulee is also excellent.

   This was the restaurant I chose to celebrate my birthday. I’ve now been her at least five times. It’s my new fav! Claire, our server, was excellent. I can’t wait to return.
