For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula. It's also the only place upcountry with dancing (on Friday and Saturday nights)!

The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal!

Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5-7 have live entertainment; Friday & Saturday evenings from 5-8pm have live entertainment AND dancing!

    We were motivated to come to hear Willy Wainwright. We were pleased with our meal, the view and the music. My husband said his Mahi was the best and although I was disappointed that the filet offering was replaced by a ribeye. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious.

    Caesar salad for one of the diners was very disappointing. No garlic in the salad or in the dressing. No anchovy flavor. The menu said there would be croutons on the salad. Instead, there were slices of unseasoned baguette. Overall experience not as good as when we dined there a couple of months ago for an evening meal.

    Wow! This place blew us away, the location is unbelievable and the chef is out of this world! The ahi crudo was my favorite of all the dishes, flavorful and unique. We also had the prawns, mahi, tenderloin and onion soup. All delicious! The crème brûlée 🍮 ended the meal perfectly. There was love local music and our server was attentive. Make sure you make a reservation, they were turning people away when we were there.

    We had a great experience! The food and service were excellent. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our table had a lovely view of the unique patio and beautiful landscape outside.

    Kula Lodge brunch was perfect! We all loved our food! Great pizza, fresh fish sandwich, omelette and my amazing croissant turkey sandwich! We had the pancakes for dessert! Love the drive, the atmosphere and the walk around the garden after. People come here! Brunch/lunch until 2 pm! It’s great!
