   Had wonderful lunch today at Kona Grill. Ordered off Power Lunch menu. Perfect selections with serving sizes large enough to take half home for supper! Ordered appetizer: Avocado Egg Rolls!! Best ever!!!  Always a wonderful experience to dine at this wonderful restaurant.

   Definitely not a first timer to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere it was a vibe and the food was great. We are already planning another date night.

   Always enjoy dining at Kona Grill at La Cantera. This location shines above the rest. It is super well managed and the food is top quality. Tyler, who is the Manager, always makes sure we are well taken care of and I look forward to dining there again soon.

   My husband and I took my daughter to Kona Grill on 5 Oct for her birthday. Our waitress, Sydney, was sweet and as accommodating as she could be considering the circumstances. We enjoyed the shrimp and lobster roll for our appetizer. Beyond that, this was the worst dining experience I have had in a very long time. For starters the booth was dirty and smelled old. We waited standing for 5 mins before someone came to clean it. My husband ordered a glass of red wine 4 times before he got one that wasn't "out right now". He asked for well done on his strip steak; it was medium rare and his side dish was a mix of fingerling potatoes and greasy home fries. I ordered the Kona Grill Sweet-Chili Glazed Salmon (used to be my favorite Kona Grill dish). Before the plate completely hit the table I knew something was not right. The rice was a shiny brown mush. I stirred it and what I thought was chicken was clumps of white rice, no vegetables and a mix of grease and soy sauce pooled around the edges. I asked our waitress to please take this off the table. When she asked what other side I would like, I opted for the Miso Whipped Potatoes. She returned with a small bowl of potatoes still shaped like the ice scoop so stiff I cut it like cake. As for the sliver of dry salmon I received, there was no miso sweet chili sauce in site. So my entire $35 meal was not edible. I ate my daughters side salad which I had to fight off the gnats to finish it. Sydney apologized, thanked us for being so patient and said "I'll see if my manager will take this off". He did not. He gave us military discount. We are veterans, but that's not the point. Also, my husband said the men's bathroom was gas station level disgusting. Overall, this meal was a waste of money and the experience was frustrating.

   Noisy, overpriced and mediocre food. There are MUCH better and more affordable options in the Rim

   A little loud, which is to be expected on a Friday night. Salmon Crudo and the French Dip Sandwich were very good. Server was prompt and friendly.

   We celebrated my Mom's birthday and she really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and the service was great! The manager kept coming by to make sure everything was great! PS that slice of carrot cake was epically amazing! Great job!
