   Beautiful night so we sat in the covered bar area, which is comfortable and quiet. Jack was an excellent server, very sweet, happy, and attentive. We never had to hunt him down to ask for anything. The Mac n Cheese is my Go To at Kona, I love it! Rich and creamy, but no garlic,bacon, onions like some chefs try. The Asian salad as a side is enough for 2. It's always good, crispy, crunchy, light, not swimming in the dressing. I do wish they served a roll or crackers with salads, but I survived;) Husband had the $39 offer of steak, salad, and Cheesecake. Everything was as he wished and the steak was a nice cut. We took home 2 desserts that we know are grrat-chocolate Gamache cake and Cheesecake. We'll be back and will ask for Jack.

   Weeknights are great night to go. Quiet and intimate. Dan was a great waiter. We got the special. Asian salad and sushi are a nice light meal. Very good.

   Meatball appetizer is my favorite!! And the beef sliders are delicious too! I really like that they offer a food happy hour early and late! We had really great service as well.

   It had been a while since we visited KG. Service was great but in my opinion the food was significantly overpriced. I ordered a Tuna poke bowl that was as plain as they come with nothing to speak to its cost. Very unlikely that we will return and honestly I would not recommend it. KG used to be great value-cost but I was disappointed during this visit.

   We had an fortunate mishap with our meal. The staff attempted to make it right. Sometimes there is nothing to be done from the loss. The evening was spoiled and we just wanted to be home. We appreciate the attempt.

   The only holdup from it being 5 stars all around is that we requested to be moved to a booth, we told no, and then that booth sat empty during our entire meal. I understand they were very busy, which is expected, but it would have been nice to be accommodated. Overall a great experience though and we would happily go back.

    All of our apps came out cold like they had been sitting there for a while the sauce on the pretzels had dried out over the the tops of both of them I ordered a passion margarita and my glass came out and it wasn’t even full!! the service was terrible everything took forever which I feel had nothing to do with the holiday and more to do with the server! The table next to us sat dark after us got everything before we did!!! and we were unaware that they were operating on a limited menu and we were told no substitutions which was fine but we told that we couldn’t even add shrimp to our entree which isn’t a substitution technically its an addition!!!???? for the amount of money we spent this was ridiculous poor treatment overall and it was our first time eating here and mostly the Last!!
