    First thing First the place was clean which can't be said about all restaurants. The food was good and the service was excellent. Would recommend.

    Service was terrific. Our waiter was great. My entree was unfortunately disappointing. I ordered a 7 oz filet mignon medium rare. What I received was entirely grey and somewhat grisly. And the mashed potatoes were completely cold. My other guests were satisfied with their entrees. And the environment was very nice.

    My last visit to this restaurant was 3 years ago. Most noticeable on this visit was the deterioration in service: had to get the server’s attention multiple times - to place order, to get steak knives for steak, for salt and pepper, to get bread for a table of 6 (only a small portion of focacia, a one inch section for each person). The appetizer sampler had definitely shrunken in quantity and the crostini pieces were chewed instead of crunchy. The King Salmon used to be a signature dish but both the presentation and taste were mediocre. The location is still its best asset, facing the Bay and the SFO landing strip.

    I hadn't been here in 20 years. Full house, lively crowd. Diverse menu, excellent salad, reasonable wine selection and pricing. Loved my Salmon. Will be back!

    Excellent prime rib. Ditto filet mignon. Everything on plates so well cooked and seasoned. Service impeccable. Very much enjoyed this restaurant.
