The server and service was the best that we’ve experienced in New York City. The food came out very quickly and the weight staff were on their a game. The sashimi was very thin so you got 14 slices but tiny pieces of fish. That was the only complaint otherwise the roles were fabulous and the ambience was incredible.

I went to Kappo Masa's on Madison for the first time because Masa's on Columbus Circle is closed on Mondays. The taste and presentation were sophisticated and better than I expected. The VIP I brought with me from Japan was very satisfied with the food. Thank you very much.

The duck with froid gras tacos are remarkable. We also had a small salad, and of course dessert. The atmosphere is lovely, wait help attentive and we had a banquette seat located on the side of the restaurant that was quiet. Our traditional Christmas lunch.

I never write reviews and was extremely optimistic coming in for my wife’s birthday. I felt the ambiance was fantastic but found the food underwhelming, which made everything feel 30% overpriced. Very clean establishment. Maitre D took a photo of us at beginning of night. We felt welcomed. When we left tried to grab another and the maitre D walked away from us. Leaving us with an even more bitter taste. My wife enjoyed it more than I did, but won’t be going back even though it seemed like a ton of regulars.
