Jake's is a casual, upscale European-style bistro nestled in a secluded courtyard at the epicenter of the Mid-Century Uptown design district of Palm Springs. Much like the architectural and style artisans that surround it, Jake’s takes cues from the past with a nod to the future in the kitchen and behind the bar. Classics are given a surprising twist while new flavor combinations excite the palate. Likewise wines come to us from both New and Old worlds. Of course, save room for something from our signature dessert case! Since 2007, Jake’s has offered al fresco dining as well as seating in our cozy dining room.     As usual, the food was great. The service was great however, the newly remodeled space needs some decor. The room we were in, felt very bare and cold, and needs some type of artwork on the walls.

    We love this restaurant. However, the new room/addition needs some decor and sound attention. The staff and owners are so friendly and we love supporting them. However, the food was less than stellar. The steak was dry and hard to eat, and the lamb chops were tiny and over priced. Otherwise, we love going here...Must have been a bad night (NYE)

    Food was good, service ok, but the room we were in was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other talk. If you go here, ask to sit in the patio and avoid the front rooms.

    The remodel is great. Our hostess was kind enough to accommodate us even though our entire group wasn’t able to make our reservation. I ordered the steak and eggs and it arrived with the eggs broken and the yolks all over the plate which soaked through the bread which made it soggy and messy. The plate arrived without the chips and with pico de gallo which we asked for it not to be on the sandwich. My partners order arrived perfectly. Not the most perfect meal but worth another visit.

    Yummy! What a great brunch today. We had super service and ate the freshest Eggs Benedict, Croque Benedict, eggy sando abs veggie omelet. We added on truffle tots (yummy). Washed t all down with mimosas. Def a ten. We will be back.

    The food was good,The dining in the front needs pictures on the wall,different lighting and music . Much better ambience . The bar cannnot keep up with the food delivery . Our waiter said the wine might not be here before our dinner .
