   Flavor of food was great as usual but my sea bass entre’ was luke -warm at best. The prime rib was supposed to be medium-rare but it was barely pink. It took longer than usual to receive our main entre’ (over an hour from when we ordered). Noise level was loud, hard to have a conversation. We’ve dined here many times, but this experience was our first with a holiday prefix menu , it was a little chaotic and service was not what I’m used to from this place. Won’t return for a prefix menu even though the choices were appropriate and varied.

    We always enjoy dining at J. Gilbert's in Glastonbury. The food and service are excellent. The service is impeccable because the staff is so well trained. And I find it reassuring to see the General Manager on the floor supporting the wait staff.
