   Fantastic service and ambiance. Made a last minute reservation for an hour before close and was greeted with nothing but smiling faces and amazing attitude. Someone noticed my boyfriend and I wanted to sit on the same side at the table and offered to move us to the bar area, awesome attention to what we were looking for and how to take our experience from good to great. Our server was very friendly, read the room well for what was needed and when to check in, and incredibly knowledgeable. Will definitely be back anytime we are in town.

   Beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere! The drinks were great, but I wouldn’t recommend the crudo—it definitely didn’t feel worth the $24. The menu is also quite small, so options are a bit limited

   We made this our last stop before we headed back home to Texas. Goal was to grab oysters and clam chowder. Ironside did not disappoint. Great ambiance and the food was delicious.

   The food quality and the service was absolutely top notch! It is a touch on the pricey side (even for San Diego) but be assured you will not be disappointed in the experience. If there was any possible critique it would be the proximity to the parties on either side of us.

   I had an amazing experience at Iron Fish & Oyster! We sat outside around 5 PM, and the setting was absolutely beautiful—perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the clam chowder, the biggest tower, fish and chips, and a lobster roll. Everything was fresh and delicious! The chowder was rich and flavorful, packed with clams, and topped with crispy bacon, adding the perfect touch. The seafood tower was impressive, overflowing with a variety of incredibly fresh selections, and the lobster roll was perfectly balanced with buttery, tender lobster. Not only was the food incredible, but the atmosphere was also welcoming and kid-friendly. They even had the cutest high chairs that matched the current dining chairs, which was such a nice touch. The drinks were also amazing—well-crafted and a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, the combination of great food, a beautiful setting, and thoughtful details made for a fantastic dining experience. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it

   Great time, good food, good service Casual setting. Celebrated my daughter’s bday and it was so nice that they called me in advance so they could print her name on the menu.

   A pleasant Valentine Day experience, the selection was good, but the food was a bit saltier than usual. Otherwise, we were happy with the reservations and will continue to visit Ironside in the future.

    We came in here for lunch for a 3pm reservation. Our waitress was friendly, but did not check on us throughout service. We got overcharged for an oyster dozen, we didn’t receive the correct count. So I would count and check twice. Our table was overcrowded and we could barely hear each other because of background noise and being so close to other tables. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience. The campechana was great and on the spicy side. Our cocktails were fair. However, the oysters weren’t properly cleaned/shucked and every oyster had bits and pieces of shell. Quite awful given oysters is one of their “hot” items. This has been my 3time coming here and will be my last.
