Our cuisine is country French and Italian with a New Orleans influence. Although a majority of our seating is available for walk-in guests we do take reservations. While you wait we have a piano player and serve cocktails. We look forward to serving you.

    Old school Italian. Very standard offerings done well. Nothing innovative. Great service. Somewhat intimate with a couple different rooms. Decorated nicely. Good wines by the glass.

    Irene’s has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants and go to spots when we come to New Orleans. Sugar Bear and A.J. are both phenomenal waiters and the food is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality place for dinner.

    Loved the beautiful dining room, very organized for getting cocktails and being seated. Food and drinks were sublime. Sugar Bear, Brandon-just the best-attentive, described the specials so well. Such a pleasure being served by SB.

    My fiancé and I had a magical time for dinner at Irene’s 12/5/24. The food was scrumptious, our server Brandon ‘Sugar Bear’ was Fabulous!!!…as were the servers who stopped by to chat, David and Sean. We were treated like royalty and it was one of the most enchanting dining experiences we’ve ever had. My fiancé can’t wait to return on his next visit from NJ. Yes, Yes, Yes to Irene’s!!!!

    I was very surprised service is gray ambience was amazing but my food was kind of bland and I was very surprised for me being in New Orleans.. if I have to ask for some pepper for my fish because there’s no flavor.. that’s a problem.
