Insignia Steak & Sushi is the creation of Anthony Scotto - Owner of Blackstone Steakhouse , Rare650 Prime Steak & Sushi, One10 Modern Italian Restaurant, Opus Steakhouse & The Halston American Kitchen and Bar.

Like its predecessors, Insignia's inspired menu features the finest prime dry-aged steaks and the freshest Sushi & Seafood, including fresh whole fish, served up in a chic, elegant atmosphere that is also a feast for the eyes. Picture a historic North shore mansion with cedar shakes, quarried stone and a beautiful turret combined with the energy and vibe of a trendy Las Vegas restaurant. He anticipated our needs before we even realized them, offered thoughtful suggestions without being pushy, and handled every detail with care and polish. Whether it was explaining the intricacies of the wine list or ensuring our steaks were cooked to perfection, Alex’s service was flawless. What truly set him apart was his authenticity—he clearly takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Insignia is already known for its top-tier food, but service like Alex’s is what brings people back. Five stars isn’t enough—Alex deserves a category of his own.

    Food was very good to excellent, service helpful and attentive. My friend and I both thought our steaks were overly salty and they made us new ones without fuss. Bone-in sirloins almost as good as rib eyes. Unfortunately Our table was near the bar, in the tented section and the noise was unmanageable for most of the meal. For two mature women who wanted to “catch up” With each other, it was exhausting and a definite deal breaker.

    I always ask to be seated Alex’s section. The best waiter… super friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and makes you and your guests feel like VIPs!!! Thank you Insignia & Alex for making our dinner and birthday celebration great!

    The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. Been here many times and will continue to dine here. Try and go on a day they offer deals. Same food better price.

    Our waiter Pamir S was outstanding. He listened to our questions and offered expert guidance. He was personable, attentive, checked back several times. Couldn't have asked for a better waiter. Food was cooked to perfection, front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Price was great. We will be back.

    This is the second visit to Insignia in the last few months and somehow this time was even better than the last. The service and the food was amazing. It was my son and daughter’s Birthday week and we came to Insignia to celebrate. We went on a Sunday so we opted for the Price Fixe dinner. There was so much to choose from and the portions were plenty. As always are servers Sebastian and Erica were so attentive to all of our needs and so knowledgable. It was such a great experience. All of us can’t wait to come back again. Thanks for a great experience.
