              If you make reservations you are required to order off the higher priced menu. It’s a nice locally sourced menu, which is nice. But I had already eaten my weight in fish over the week so I got the chicken because it had a lovely description. The sauce was amazing, the sweet potatoes were tasty enough but the chicken was so dry I couldn’t even get it off the bone. My sons had the ahi which they liked but I wish they didn’t both have to order the same thing just to get fish. The fish of the day had an unappealing sounding preparation. We didn’t come here to be wowed, we came for nostalgia. But I think it’s my last time.

              Food quality and flavours were disappointing, the grilled fish was dry, the chicken was unappetizing. We were a party of seven and nobody completed their meals. I would never recommend.

              I had the locally sourced tomato soup, the crab topped macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi and the original hula pie. All the dishes exceeded my expectations. They were outstanding.

              Fabulously delicious dinner! Our server recommended the opaka paka special. Both my husband and I ordered it and we both fell in love with the dish. The flavors and textures were amazing. We usually have relaxed dinner conversation but we were so mesmerized by the dish that we could only eat.
