              The food was very good, but in our opinion, it was short of outstanding, based on the prices. Service was excellent, and you can't beat the oceanside view. We were very disappointed in the Mai Tias, which were advertised as a house specialty. They were bitter and definitely underwhelming and overrated. We were tempted to send them back.

              We were so excited to visit Hula Grill after multiple recommendations. We ordered an appetizer which we never got and it took 20 minutes to get a soda. The food was ok, not great. we were really disappointed in the experience overall.

              It took 30 minutes for them to just get us drinks, and then when they came with my husband’s drink, they forgot mine!! It took another 10 to get mine!! Service extremely slow!! Our food was very tasty though, with nice atmosphere and entertainment.

              Our server was excellent. Dinner was delicious. We were not made to feel welcomed by the ladies who checked us in at the dinner reservations counter. Nor did we receive an Aloha greeting or smile from the young lady who took us to our table. Very different than past experiences.

              The $72 ribeye was totally fatty and not consistently cooked. The wood fired fish was dry, but the sirloin was good and the pineapple cake. Out of the lychee martini ingredients at 7:30pm.

              Great food. Great service (Thanks, Roy!). And a magnificent ocean view. What more can you ask for in paradise?! Oh and the Hula Pie is a must! Make reservations in advance.
