   Mark was very professional. The sommelier, Frederick, made an excellent recommendation of St.Supery 3018 Merlot, which was over the top good. Food was excellent as usual. Overall a 10.

   Beautiful Old school service & ambiance, the food was good not great. You pay dearly for it too. Only 1x did our server come around to pour our wine; so we ended up doing it. The salad cart service was incredible & probably the highlight, as was the chocolate covered strawberries at the end. Worth going for a beautiful experience.

   Hugo’s is still very good, but having eaten there for many years, I believe quality has slipped a bit. For example, the baked potato we were served wasn’t warm and wasn’t cooked completely through. Not a major thing, but given the way prices have escalated at Hugo’s, you become less and less forgiving of the small things. The service here has always been a hallmark , and remains excellent.

   Made a reservation at 7pm and didn’t get in until 7:20pm. Very loud inside but the food and service were fantastic. If it wasn’t for a longer than normal wait and so very loud inside it would have been 5 stars across the board

    Every year for our anniversary we go to Hugo Cellar and it never disappoints. From The Rose when my wife is greeted to the wonderful service, to the extensive salad bar and a wonderful piece of steak. Even the desserts are just a wonderful way to end the evening. Will be back next year
