                              Food was good as usual but the service was lacking. There was an extremely loud, obnoxious large group next to us that were clearly overserved & drunk. There was gum under the table that got on my pants. The server just apologized. I think we may have to try Harris for our next gathering.

                              It’s an icon for a reason! It’s difficult to make reservations because it’s booked for months but be diligent because the whole experience that is HOPR is worth it. The staff is excellent and the place is a well oiled machine. Love this place!

                              We got seated about 15 minutes after we arrived in a cozy setting next to one of the fireplaces. Since we were there for the first sitting at 4pm, when the restaurant opened, there was a lot of people already lined up and went before us and hung in the bar waiting to be seated. But once we were seated, and the waitress came by to take our orders, things went smooth and quick. Waitress was great, she took our orders and was mindful about our food restrictions on lactose intolerant and acted and advised accordingly. The food was outstanding, drinks were delivered in conjunction with our food and the beef cuts were enuf for we big meat eaters. There was six of us and only one ordered fish. the Cuts ordered were five Henry VIII cuts. Deeeeelicious. Looking forward to coming back again. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a good reservation.

                              Great service, food. Got there about an hour early for reservations and actually got our table about 40 minutes early from reservation time

                              We got this reservation on a whim and it truly was perfect! A great simple date night, amazing fun, and fantastic service -thank you Ben! Parking was a trouble this time around on the block, but the valet solved that easily and brought the car around so quickly. Can’t wait to be back for another meal.
