Henrietta’s Table opened its doors to a diverse and adoring public 20 years ago. In that time the restaurant has come to be the dining room of Nobel laureates, celebrities and New England Farmers. The Charles Hotel’s Executive Chef, Sean Lizotte, helms Henrietta’s Table and has designed a menu of "honest to goodness New England cooking."

Henrietta's Table has been at the forefront of farm-to-table dining since before it was a trend or a hashtag. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, you don't need a degree to appreciate our simple, homemade flavors - just like you'd find in Grandma's kitchen.

The Ritz cracker crusted scrod, Yankee pot roast and warm grain bowl are some of our guests' favorite dishes. Our menus rotate daily based on availability from our local farmers and artisans, pushing our chefs to constantly create mouthwatering dishes that let the ingredients shine.

Busy pre-holiday lunch time, but service was excellent. We were seated at a corner booth, as requested. Our server, Gina, didn’t rush us at all. Inspite of how busy HT was, she let us take our time. Food was tasty, overall, all good! My friend and I come here every time we meet for lunch!

Good spot. Nice service. Nothing amazing about the vibe but clean and well maintained. 43 bucks for a breakfast for one was a bit steep. Ordered a dish, a side, and coffee.

Amazing how consistently first-rate it has been over, I believe, 4 decades. Whenever we attend an event in Harvard Square we eat there and have never been disappointed.

went here for my mom's birthday, which I'd noted when I made the reservation. There was no recognition of that by any staff. This contrasted significantly from the last time we were there (for my parents' anniversary, when the staff were very warm and generous, and we reciprocated with a nice tip). This time the food took forever to arrive, even though restaurant was probably half full, and the waiter seemed very uneasy/uncomfortable around us (maybe a brand new waiter??). Moreover, printed menu was inaccurate in several ways and those inaccuracies (or substitutions) were never explained to us. The dish my kid ordered was completely bland and inedible. all other food was good though, and portions were generous. so, a mixed experience overall.

I was extremely disappointed with the entire dinning experience. Our table of 10 was seated in Avery right spot. The staff had to squeeze behind our table to go into the kitchen an we were so close to the table next to us that it was difficult to get up from our seats to go to the buffet. It was difficult for the staff to clear our plates. The room was loud and lacked ambience. The food was less than impressive. Definitely it worth the price.

Paid $125 pp for thanksgiving and had what can only be described as a high school cafeteria experience. Plain wood tables, no flowers, candles nothing special. The food displays weren’t maintained so they looked sloppy and unappetizing. The food itself was okay but jeez. Expected for it to feel a LITTLE special and it didn’t in any way

I’ve been to Henrietta’s a few times. First time doing a buffet for a holiday and wasn’t sure what to expect from a buffet at $125 a head +gratuity. The place was very busy and rather loud. Most of the food was quite good but I’d prefer a fixed menu with lesser options and a more relaxed setting rather than the ‘all you can eat’ lure for $125 a head.
