   Food was very good. Had filet mignon with red skinned mashed potatoes, salad and onion rings. Would definitely book again when in Indianapolis. Very happy with our choice. Were very flexible with our booking as we had to change our time to accommodate our schedule.

   My wife and I visited H&I (Downtown)location for date night. My dry-aged NY Strip was grilled to perfection and paired well with the redskin mashed potatoes. My wife loved the filet. We enjoyed onion rings, and mushrooms. Joseph, our server, was so attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. He really made our evening!

   The New England Clam Chowder was on special and was excellent. The Shrimp Cocktail and Filet Sliders are always a favorite and wonderful as always.

   Great food and prompt service. Outstanding! Filet sliders were delicious and the bread pudding is large enough to serve 4.

   Food was good but definitely not worth what we paid. Fries were cold. Server was nice but forgot things, which is fine, but when you are paying the prices they are charging I would expect better. I won’t be making another visit to this restaurant. I’ve gotten a better burger and fries at 5 Guys for a lot less money

   Highly disappointed. Our service was horrific. Food came out ice cold and no one came to check for over 40 mins. Once our waiter did arrive he said, “Sorry, I am busy with larger tables!” They did take off one meal but the only thing we ate were the Brussels. We walked out and walked into Ruth Chris where we paid for a second dinner. Will not return. Had high hopes since it’s in the St Elmo family.

   Everything was "fine" but it really didn't measure up to expectations. We have eaten here a number of times to celebrate together as a family but I'm not sure we will return. The server seemed new. Brought us large red wine glasses for champagne. Didn't offer us bread. Other than reading the specials, didn't have much to add. The burrata brussel sprout salad was uninspiring. My children enjoyed their steaks but we got the Izzy strip and felt it was overcooked, thinner than expected and over seasoned (I guess that's on us). We were celebrating and did receive a complementary dessert which was a nice touch. Again, it wasn't bad but the high-end steak house competition downtown (or in the burbs) is high.

    First let me say we Love Harry and Izzy’s….. Coming in and getting to our seat there were no issues. It took a while to get our drink order, which was just a Dr Pepper. A request for an appetizer that took forever to get to us, but while waiting on our appetizer they requested our dinner order, which wasn’t a big deal, except for we got our appetizer and within 10 minutes our dinner order was out. The scallops were fine however, my Izzy’s salad came out completely incorrect. I asked for extra cheese and no bacon with my chicken on the side. I received my chicken on the salad and with bacon. When it was brought back to me, my chicken was cold and it looked like my salad was picked through to get the bacon out and no cheese. Silly I know, but when you are paying for this you want your order correct. Service was minimal at best I am not a complainer at all, and to be honest, this is my first real review, but it was definitely not up to our normal standard and we eat here typically once a month whether it be the one downtown or the one on the northside.
