Always happy to be at Hamilton's. Love the food, drinks and service. Recent visit included a reunion with some dear friends I hadn't seen in over a year- we go back more than 50 years. So of course we stayed a long time- 2 hours. Our reservation was for 7 pm. Despite not leaving til 9 pm, the staff never gave any indication we were overstaying. Gracious hosts til the end. I so appreciated it. Who knows when we will see each other again.

M6 Husband and I were passing thru Charlottesville and chose Hamiltons for a late lunch. Our Hostess hung our coats and seated us in a comfy booth. We both chose the Crabcake entree served on sautéed spinach and basmati rice. Our choice did not disappoint! The crabcake was the best I've ever eaten! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Dining during a holiday week may not have been the best idea. While the roasted chicken was perfect, the accompanying Brussels sprouts were over steamed and too cold when served. My son’s shrimp and grits did not taste fresh and the ravioli my husband ordered was just okay. The service was good but not amazing. This restaurant was recommended across multiple platforms but it wasn’t as good as everyone else said.

This was our first visit and it was wonderful!we were greeted with a smile, taken to our table and were offered water immediately and then our server created us with a very warm welcome. The service was fabulous and the food delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to those in know.

Our waiter was very good. Professional and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and went out of his way to ensure I was 100% confident about my gf choice. He even added that we would double check with the chef. I had a delicious and safe meal (trout). Thank you!

We love Hamiltons and visit often. Today was our annual lunch for my daugjters and me. Everything was as perfect as usual.

We had not been to Hamilton's for several years--not for any good reason. We used to go often. Anyway, we decided to return and see how is was. The menu sounded good. The experience was excellent. We went quite early on Friday. The server was Logan, and I must say we've never had a more attentive and thoughtful server. He was excellent. The food also was excellent. The decor of the restaurant is appealing, and the overall ambience very pleasant. We definitely will be returning.
