   I really enjoy this place. Best dining experience on St Simons. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious fresh food. Chef and owner Dave always says hello when we are dining here. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

   Service was impeccable, the restaurant was out of a couple of dishes so we ordered what was available. The way the dishes were described. They arrived a little different than the menu description. Minor changes such in the vegetables that were originally supposed to come with them.

   This restaurant consistently has great food and service. Excellent selection of diverse menu items and price points. We shared a cup of blue crab bisque and caesar salad. Both were perfectly prepared with great flavors. Soup was rich and salad nicely dressed. We had the shrimp and grits (lots of sweet shrimp!) and the special grouper on bed of guinoa with mixture of butternut squash, zucchini mixed in. A light sauce on top of fish with red pepper pesto. Grouper pan-sautéd perfectly. Both entrées were good sized portions. Service is personable and timely. We would like to try other restaurants in the area, but always come back to Halyards.
