   The environment of the place was nice and beautiful, but the food was mediocre especially for the price. And some of the employees i thought were customers because I’m assuming theres no dress code like there typically would be at “high” end restaurants. But overall i would say if you like to eat a place that has a nice view go for it but if you like something thats delicious and worth your buck dont come.

   The prepayment already took 20% gratuity for 2 people which I do not understand why was it mandatory and then the server almost bullied me into paying him additional 20%. This was egregious paying $50 on a $200 meal for 2 people. I would call it a scam

   We pre-paid and reserved the $230 valentines meal (and gratuity) and when we arrived they let us know we would be sitting outside in the cold. Server was AMAZING but the hosting staff were not pleasant, as they told us even if we waited inside they would not give us a table inside. The food is really only worth it if you sit inside, so we will not be returning because of this experience.

   Went for Valentine's dinner and had pre-paid for the pre-fixe menu. We've been to Greens many times before for brunch and this was our first dinner. Really terrible service and essentially only saw our waitress twice. Food came out missing components and the entree and the appetizer were essentially the same flavors which was very odd (a bean soup in tomato base and then a hilarious named gnocchi in a lentil sauce that tasted just like the soup). Dessert cake came out toppled over and looking a mess. Pretty terrible experience for over $300. Will likely only being going for brunch when you can order off the normal menu.

   Beautiful space, impressive curation of the space during a busy valentines lunch. NA cocktails are great, as the food. Looking forward to returning

   I've been to Green's many times over the last 30 years. I am sorry to say but the restaurant has gone downhill. The food was uneven, with some excellent dishes (the two sandwiches come to mind) and others so-so (West African Peanut Stew). Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the service. Our server was any thing but gracious. We felt ignored some of the time, and the service lacked professionalism overall. We loved the dining room and views, which is what keeps us coming back for special occasions. In spite of the beautiful space, we will not be coming back to Greens anytime soon.

   We drove in from South Bay for a birthday celebration and to see a ballet. After considering many options we chose Green's as special venue. It was a great, sparkling day out on the Bay. Green's mellow murmuring diners set the stage for a leisurely brunch. It felt intimate. The menu even had "Happy Birthday" heading and sherbert with a candle arrived at the end of a delicious vegetarian meal. Service was attentive, caring and responsive. One of us has extensive food allergies which were explicitly analyzed for each item on the menu, allowing clear choice of safe foods. We were both very happy we chose to lunch there.
