Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, try 9 grain pancakes with butter and maple syrup or warm banana buckwheat loaf with butter and jam of the day. Brunch options include Moroccan baked eggs and 7 grain porridge. Gjelina offers a variety of oysters, crudo, charcuterie and salad options to start at lunch and dinner. Main courses include pizzas from our wood fired oven and entrees like duck confit, house made pastas and roasted organic half chicken.

*A 20% Mandatory Service Charge is added to your check. Our belief is that every hourly Gjelina employee contributes to your service and 100% of the MSC will be distributed amongst them.

    Great service by Ali, first time on second floor quieter than ground floor. They excel in vegetables - evolved tokyo turnips in miso butter wine sauce, persimmons with burrata, pomegranate seeds, watercress. Only one fish offered last night. Wish for more. Want to eat oysters ( look good), but no martini ( no cocktails) so gave up on that. Always dependable for a good meal with great ingredients. If you like a dark environment, you will get it.

    What a gem of a place. The food is excellent - especially the roasted vegetables!! The ambiance with the outdoor seating next to the fire pit was really unique and cozy.

    This was our first time to Gjelina and we will certainly be back. The food is simply delicious and beautiful. We went off the recommendations from our server Lance who was charming and knowledgeable. We started with the Kombucha Squash, then we had the Mushroom Pizza which comes with dried oregano from Spain (sooo good) and finished with the Warm Date Cake which had a whiskey carmel sauce and Ginger Ice Cream. Nothing disappointed! Loved that Justin, the host, would walk by and give me a thumbs up with a smile to check and see if everthing was good. Really appreciated both Lance and Justin. Thanks!

    I’ve been wanting to give Gjelina a try for months. The restaurant has a creative menu (something for everyone!), good food, nice vibes, but VERY poor service overall (e.g., servers were minimally engaged, forgot food and drink items, never followed up, etc.). We came to the conclusion that poor service is likely due to the restaurant automatically charging 20% gratuity in the final bill—there simply isn’t incentive to work for a tip. As a result, I don’t think we will be returning.
