   If I could give negative stars, I would. Dining at Gianni’s at the former Versace Mansion was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever endured. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place is all about flash with absolutely no substance. It started when we ordered our meal and were halfway through our salads when two other guests were seated next to us. To our shock, when our main dishes started coming out, they were delivered to these girls instead. Even worse, one girl stuck their finger in one of our pasta dishes! Instead of fixing the situation and prioritizing us—the paying guests who ordered first—the staff catered to them and brushed off the clear mistake. The situation spiraled from there. Our server was nowhere to be found for 10-20 minutes at a time, leaving us hanging between every single request. The final straw came at the end of the meal when the bill was not only incorrect but messed up three separate times. Frustrated and fed up, I left $56 to reflect the horrible experience, made it clear how inadequate the service was, and walked out. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, our server—who seemed to understand our frustrations—did not care and allowed us to leave without any resistance. But just as we thought the nightmare was over, we were chased out of the building by another staff member, who threatened to involve the police unless we returned to pay the bill. Reluctantly, we went back, only for the bill to be incorrect a fourth time. To make matters worse, no manager ever stepped in to take accountability or amend the chaos. This restaurant is nothing more than a tourist trap relying on its name and location to lure people in. The food is average at best, the service is abysmal, and the management clearly has no regard for its guests. Save yourself the headache (and your money) and dine elsewhere. Gianni’s is a shiny façade hiding one of the most poorly run establishments I’ve ever encountered.

   This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in South Beach and one I come to every time I’m here. Unfortunately today was not a good experience. My reservation was for 2, I was sat at 2:30 and that was a whole experience. Next I had to ask for the complimentary while it was just given to the tables next to me. It took me 20 minutes to find my server to get the check. The guest next to me were also searching for our server for a photo. I have always loved the food and of course the space is gorgeous, today the service was very underwhelming which is unfortunate since the service fee is included.

   Restaurant impeccable. Nous avons bien mangé et le cadre est magnifique. Je recommande fortement. Le service fut impeccable, le personnel aussi et en particulier Anna qui était vraiment agréable et très serviable envers nous.

   Ambience was great! Food was terrible. Twice got our drinks wrong. Main course was overcooked—both the salmon and the vegetables. Just don’t go.

   The food and the service were exceptional. The atmosphere is great. Don’t miss the one of a kind dining experience. It’s a little pricey but well worth it.
