    Did not meet my expectations for the reputation. Although the food was good it wasn’t outstanding. Little pricey. The service was outstanding and staff were friendly.

    Fantastic food & service all around - we did 3 choice menu & it was hard to choose. Everything was delicious- and extra chef treats through dinner . It was my birthday so it was a special treat - and even a birthday cake with candle .

    After so many years where plans didn't work out, we were finally able to line up our first visit to Gary Danko. It was worth the wait as it was among the most memorable dining experiences of my life! The service was precise and well executed without being stuffy, and the dishes were all perfectly prepared, ample in quantity and delicious. The oyster and caviar appetizer may be the best item I've ever eaten, as it was full of rich and extravagant flavor. Beside the other delicious entrees and soufflé on the tasting menu, the cookies and pastry provided for the next day's breakfast was a touch of class. I can't wait to return!

    It was absolutely phenomenal. Made my December birthday so memorable. Everything was so beautifully done and it was out of this world delicious!! Thank you for all that you do staff at Gary Danko!! You made our day so perfect and complete! Our hearts and tummies are full! 🤩💗💗🥰

    Good food and great service. But an incredibly loud table next to us made it difficult to hear. Could the restaurant have done something? Not sure but it affected our experience.

    One of the best, if not the best high end fine dining experiences in the Bay Area. Food was great of coarse but the service is what makes the experience well worth the $.
