What a wonderful dining experience. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. D was our main server and fabulous but service was a team effort and well executed with one exception. My husband ordered the five course tasting menu. I ordered three courses. Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer and the Seared scallops with Japanese sweet potato both of which were excellent. My third course was the Herb crusted lamb loin. Unfortunately I was too full to consume it by this point. I took one small bite off the lamb and polenta. My husband did not finish his third course. We asked for both to be boxed to go. Most of our cheese selections and sweets were boxed. Unfortunately both our third courses we asked to be boxed were not included in our bag to go. Very disappointing. I guess the team service which seemed to work beautifully did not work on this point. I would have given five stars if this had not occurred. Never-the-less I would highly recommend dining here.

The food has always been outstanding and expertly presented. The menu, however, appears to be static with few changes made over the years. There are other little things that can annoy a diner who has experienced other top restaurants here and abroad. Butter is nearly as hard as a rock; it should be closer to room temperature. Another thing I noticed is that there was no attempts to remove crumbs from the table, which standard is at world-class restaurants. Tonight, it appeared as if the staff was thin and not as visible as in the past. Attention to the little things and great food is what earns Michelin stars.

I’m a repeat customer. We go to Gary Danko for special occasions because it’s delicious and not stuffy. Last night we were disappointed. The food was just okay. It is too expensive to be mediocre. Will not come back.

Amazing seafood risotto! Service is impeccable and the decor transports you to an another world. Pricey and too easy to keep eating. Will be back for more.

I have been going to Gary Danko for over 15 years. I was in love with this place. This place has jumped the shark.  The service and food was off the hooks terrible. I don't mind spending $400 for a great meal. However, I do mind subpar service and even worse food, which was my experience yesterday. During our first 10 minutes, we were assigned a new member of staff every two minutes. I had no idea who to go to when things went over the rails. My poached lobster tail was oddly clipped at the two ends of the table, which made for a strange presentation. The entire dish had different temperatures on one plate-none of which piping hot. The temperatures varied from ice cold to lukewarm.  During the courses-no one was present to check on how things were going. My beef tenderloin was a disaster. It was tasteless and again, various items on the plate were inconsistent in their temperatures. When someone finally asked me how it was, the lady asked me why I didn't tell her. Frankly, I couldn't find her. I did not appreciate being chided for that. Her response was to bring a special little gift of raspberry macaroons, which were not consumed. I told her that I just wanted to wait for my souffle. We had to ask for my husband's coffee twice before receiving it. When he added cream to the coffee cup, the milk had curdled and he stopped drinking it. I am not just joking.  What happened to this restaurant? It used to be a place that would put a smile on my face for days. Instead, I just felt that the service and the food were terrible. The only redeeming quality was the chocolate souffle. They couldn't even get the coffee correct. Gary Danko was an utterly uninspired experience.

They are a team. That's why JC, Aaron, Bobby, Michael, and all those whose names need mentioning, are so passionate. Standouts were the Anglianico, the 2nd triple cream cheese, and the beef. Carry on, my friends!

Don’t recommend for people with celiac / gluten intolerance. They were aware I needed to be gluten-free but I was nevertheless served courses with gluten, which I had to bring to their attention. The remedy was to give me a side plate to place the gluten-containing items on.

It was an outstanding experience at Gary Danko for our dinner! The staff was welcoming, professional, and helpful. The food was amazing: the chefs reached the perfect bliss point of all the flavor combinations and textures. It was a real pleasure! Special thanks to the bartender who did an amazing job crafting our cocktails. Another special thanks to Aaron who made a special trip to my house to deliver the bag with the desserts that we left at the bar rushing to get our Lyft. It was an amazing evening and we highly recommend Gary Danko. Thank you!
